Key handover at hotels
Anyone who’s ever spent a holiday in a hotel knows that not every hotel has their reception desk staffed 24 hours a day. Hotel guests often arrive late at night because they simply have no other option, or because they’d been delayed in traffic.
Now, key handover at hotels can be performed using masunt key safes. It’s a simple solution that doesn’t require staff to be present, even if guests arrive late.
Handing hotel room keys over to late arrivals
The Okelmann’s hotel and country inn uses the masunt 2120 E Code key safe. Regular guests use the key safe to take room keys even after reception has closed, allowing them to check in complete convenience.
In future, you will be able to offer your hotel guests round-the-clock key handover with a masunt key safe if you cannot receive and greet them in person due to time constraints. So guest arrivals no longer depend on your hotel’s reception and opening hours, making unpopular night shifts just as much a thing of the past as problems encountered when guests arrive late.
(Very early) departures can also be arranged with extreme ease in this way. Guests can deposit the key in the key safe – in a similar way to how they retrieved the key on arrival.
For key handover at hotels, you can leave keys for guests in a key safe. Additionally, the masunt key safe also gives you the option of leaving a small welcome message for your guests.
1420 E Code key safe
The 1420 E Code key safe is particularly popular with hotels and guesthouses. Up to 12 keys can be handed over with four separately controllable compartments. The four-compartment masunt key safe for handing keys over to late arrivals was specifically developed for hotels.
For key handover at hotels, masunt offers key safes (also known as key repositories) in AISI 316 steel specifically for coastal regions. They are particularly corrosion- and acid-resistant. If that weren’t enough, you can, of course, also get key safes (key repositories) made of AISI 304 steel
