Dear Mr Schacht, the key safe has helped us to automate the holiday home rental process.

We live 1.5 hours away from our holiday apartment. So the masunt solution saves us from having to hand over the keys to an expensive agency. Nobody has encountered any difficulties with the codes to date.

All our guests have been able to get into the apartment without any problems whatsoever so far. That’s where I had my doubts originally. But the system works very well indeed.

A robust, good safe. Fulfils its purpose 100%

We bought the 2120 E Code key safe to make keys to our lorries available to our drivers. The safe is very robust and easy to install. Two lorry keys fit into the safe easily.

The safe itself is simple and secure to operate. I’d rate it 9 out of 10! Unfortunately, I have to deduct one point because the offer doesn’t clearly state that you have to pay for e-codes issued over the internet after the 20th code. (approx. 0.20 cents per code). But that doesn’t have a negative impact on the product quality!

Comment by masunt: Thank you for the positive review! One credit, costing 18 cents, is used per generated code. The product can be used for free with the user code and master code.

We might even be the first to use the masunt key safe in Cape Town. Since we’re so close to the sea, we opted for the V4A version with an extra-sturdy design.

The house is rented out all year round on Airbnb to tourists from all over the world, so it was important to us that we had the best key handover solution possible.

Thank you! I don’t find the entire solution all that affordable… But it worked wonderfully with the first guests, and there weren’t any problems. The codes are easy to set up too.

Dear Mr Schacht,

I would be delighted to respond to your request, since your product has helped me a great deal and has worked perfectly so far.

The challenge for me was finding a solution for my holiday apartment in a holiday park with a central locking system that allows my guests to open the apartment ‘remotely’ without having to replace the locking cylinder in the master key system or coming up with ambitious online solutions. I solved the problem nicely for my situation by not simply ‘drilling the safe into’ the communal property, but with a joiner: we integrated the safe into the apartment door. Since the stainless steel surface looks amazing, it’s a good option (see the photo). One positive side effect is that, up until now, I’d always kept two keys ready for guests, increasing the risk of loss. Guests can now deposit the key in the safe – even when they’re away for a short time. Anyone coming back to the apartment first can remove the key using the code. The problems surrounding the portal’s English operating interface, which I was initially afraid of, and the various code generation options are now a thing of the past. Unfortunately, despite initial attempts, I haven’t managed to arrange the options in table form – to make things easier with a side-by-side setup. So, all in all, I’m very satisfied. My main problem has been solved. You are welcome to add me to your list of testimonials.

Dear Mr Schacht,

Not all carers have a key. And the ones that do are forever forgetting to take theirs with them. That’s why the people in charge fitted a Master Lock key safe to the aviary, unfortunately without my knowledge. I then demonstrated how quickly it can be opened without knowing the code. My record is 50 seconds!

I came across your website while looking for a better solution. While this safe can be opened too, it is impossible to open without leaving behind any signs of burglary, which is important. This is because, in Switzerland, no insurance company will pay out when no traces are left behind. We don’t need the safe every day. But, as you can see, we only have one place where there is no protection from the elements. Up until now, we have never had any problems with water or ice. I’m particularly impressed by the motorised opening. It is resistant to blows. Check out online how easy it is to open most safes.

I guess the Italian postal service worked out pretty well in the end. I’m happy that the device has arrived. We are extremely satisfied with it. I’ve put all the functions through their paces, and everything is working without a hitch.

Compartment 1 has a fixed user code, and compartments 2 to 4 can be managed using a NetCode. The NetCode thing is really great. At first, I couldn’t believe that it would even work without an internet or power connection. But it does, and it works perfectly. The device itself also boasts a very high level of workmanship. I will definitely recommend it to everybody. The device is already installed and looks very nice at the entrance to our guest house. We have now ordered a label, which we will attach above the key box. As soon as everything is finished, I will send you photos, which you are welcome to use as part of a testimonial. So far, everyone is fine with it. It is used quite a lot, gives me more freedom and allows me to accommodate guests when I’m already sleeping, which of course increases my revenue too. Because we live near to Weeze Airport (10 km away), guests can arrive late at night quite often.

The box is an inconspicuous, sturdy, superb system that uses the computer to change the code and assign the master code. I think the box is great and would definitely recommend it. And I really appreciate your support as well (especially at the beginning when I had some problems). I never once had the feeling that you just wanted to sell me something and didn’t care about anything else.
