masunt has added a new fire brigade deposit box to its product range:
The deposit box with VdS double-bit conversion lock was developed to deposit (company) keys. The stainless steel product can also be used as a fire brigade key deposit box.
The product is fitted with a VdS-certified type 70091 double-bit conversion lock from dormakaba (formerly: Mauer). So the deposit box meets VdS’s specifications for use as a Type ‘B’ fire brigade key deposit box. Type ‘B’ means that the deposit box is not connected to a fire alarm system or burglar alarm system.
Since the product is supplied with two keys for the same individual lock, the masunt deposit box can be used for private or commercial key handover. If it is to be used as a fire brigade key deposit box (FBKDB), the deposit box along with a key is handed over to the fire brigade. The key is needed to change the lock from the preset lock to the fire brigade’s one.
The new stainless steel key deposit box with double-bit conversion lock has a high-quality finish, offers more space than similar products and comes with two double-bit keys.
With the fire brigade key deposit box with double-bit conversion lock, masunt is expanding its range of fire brigade key deposit boxes and complementing the M3 deposit boxes – designed with profile half-cylinder (PHC).
